Yahoo! My dear son ran like the wind at his regional track meet and is advancing to the state level!! Five from his school advanced – four seniors and my sophomore son. I’m so darn happy for him and proud of him. His knee seems to be holding out okay so far, thanks to advice from a great doc. My hubby and I were reflecting on the whole parenting gig as we drove back from the regional meet – 6 hours worth of driving to see him run for 2 minutes. And you know what? We wouldn’t have missed it for the world!
What a difference 2 minutes makes!
