Catherine, My late husband was a reservist in the Army. Every June he had orders for temporary duty, and no matter what it always fell on our anniversary. I think we spent 5 Anniversaries together. He was home on leave for our 27th in June of 2006, it had been so long sense we spent our anniversary together we both couldn't believe it. I'll always remember that anniversary. He bought me a beautiful gold and diamond necklace with matching earings.
It's always interesting being a Military Wife, no matter if you are Army, Navy, CG, Air Force, or those pesky Marines. It's never a dull moment when your life is a part of the military.
